Wage & Hour Rights and Responsibilities
Wage Payment: Employee rights consist of:- Spend for all wages made (INFO # 3) at the rate consented to by the employer and staff member.

Labor Statutes, job Rules, & Published Guidance
Statutes & Rules: DLSS implements many of Colorado’s wage and hour and other kinds of labor statutes and labor job guidelines, including the Colorado Wage Act, the Colorado Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards (” COMPS Order”), and the Equal Spend For Equal Work Act. Please go to the Division’s Labor Statutes and Labor Rules web pages for current and previous variations of crucial Colorado labor statutes and guidelines.
Published Guidance: The Division’s main kinds of public guidance are:- INFOs (Interpretive Notices and Formal Opinions) – the Division’s officially authorized notices, opinions, and explanations on various labor law subjects; and.

Written Demands, Complaints, & Investigations
Demands & Complaints for Wages: If an employer owes you incomes, you can send your company a composed demand for payment of salaries by mail, e-mail, text, or other electronic ways. A written demand may be sent out to the employer at the exact same time a Labor Standards Complaint Form for job overdue earnings is filed with the Division. Employer Responses in Investigations: Once a complete Labor Standards Complaint Form is gotten and evaluated, a letter explaining the nature of the grievance and the amounts declared to be owed is sent to the company. Investigations Launched by the (” Direct Investigations”): The Division may conduct employer-wide direct investigations of possible offenses of Colorado wage and hour law. If you want to send a suggestion, please email the Division at cdle_di_tips@state.co.us. If you wish to file a private claim for overdue salaries, you need to complete a Labor Standards Complaint Form on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements webpage. To appeal a direct investigation citation or several Notices of Assessment, a supposed employer might send a Direct Investigation Appeal Form.
